'This dress is... First, it's strapless. I don't think I've ever owned a strapless bra. I don't even know what to do with that,' she said.
'My mom would be really, really happy to see me in this, but it's really actually just uncomfortable. I'm going to do whatever she wants I love her like a cousin, but it's going to be a long day to get through.'
The dress, she added, left her feeling as though she was 'not [herself] at all'.
But Christina loved the plum gown, and when Tiffany stepped out with the dress on, the bride exclaimed: 'You look so pretty! I love it!'

In addition to Tiffany's lack of affinity with the design, she worried that by wearing it on Christina's wedding day, she would end up stealing the show from the bride, because people would be distracted by her unconventional wardrobe choice.
Tiffany told Christina what she really thought about the dress over cakes at a Manhattan bakery, declaring: 'I hate it.'
Christina was shocked to find out just how much Tiffany disliked the design, while her bridesmaid reminded her: 'I wear men's clothes. That's just part of who I am.'
The bride first told Christina once again that she looked beautiful in the plum dress and asked her to wear it, which Tiffany said she would.
However, after the conversation, Christina realized just how much this style decision meant for Tiffany.
'I don't want her to feel uncomfortable so I'm going to have to figure out something,' she said.

Success! Tiffany was immediately relieved to learn that she wouldn't have to wear the dress—and when she tried on the suit, she fell in love with the new design
Jag didn't hesitate to rip the dress as she began working on her own design, resolved to create an outfit that would reflect Tiffany's style and personality.
She ended up crafting a dapper suit with a polka dot jacket, complete with plum elbow patches and a matching cummerbund made from the same fabric as the original dress.
Tiffany thought she was attending Christina's dress fitting when the bride, who did put on her wedding dress, told her that the real purpose of the visit was for her to try on her own outfit.

'Jag did an amazing job. It was perfect,' Tiffany said.
I feel like I'm actually being seen and respected for who I am
Christina was over the moon to see her bridesmaid finally feeling at ease in her wedding day outfit.
'She is beaming,' Christina said of Tiffany. 'It is so thrilling to see that she loves what she has on.'
The bride finished off her friend's outfit by giving her a special bow tie, which she had made herself using small building blocks.
'When I was working on the bow tie, I really wasn't sure how it was going to turn out, but it actually ended up being my favorite part,' Christina said.
Tiffany loved the accessory and told the camera: 'I was holding back tears when she gave me the bow tie. It just not only represents me as a person but also our childhood together. It was a really sweet moment.'
The bridesmaid was grateful that her friend had chosen to have her wear an outfit matching her personality.
'I feel really loved and understood,' Tiffany said. 'Like I'm actually being seen and respected for who I am.'
